<p>A process which is capable of separating contaminants such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide from natural gas is described. It comprises operating using the low-temperature fractional distillation method (from 200 to 300 degree K) at a pressure of around 70-90 bar. The process is characterised by the fact that the cooling energy necessary for the process is provided from the exterior by means of a liquid gas, such as for example liquid nitrogen. <IMAGE></p> |
