PURPOSE:To perform a sloping road control so well in terms of responsiveness even under such a running condition as starting after stoppage on a downward slope by suspending a judgment of whether running on a sloping road or not when so judged that it is in gearshifting, excepting such a case that shift takes place in a direction of reducing a transmission gear ratio as running below the specified car speed. CONSTITUTION:After checking a fact that a shift display timer value is zero and it is not judged as in gearshifting, when each exciting pattern of both solenoid valves 54, 56 is so judged that they are varied, the current car speed is compared with the specified car speed, and when it exceeds that, a specified value is set to a timer, starting it. When so judged that it is less than the specified car speed, it is set to the side of a relatively position, for example, in and around a range of 40km/h. Accordingly, if it is in the gearshifting, any calculation of a difference mean value is suspended, and thereby the last time calculated value is used so that there is no fear of committing an error in the control value. When a car is stopped once in the point midway in a downward slope and then started, the difference mean value is calculated at each control period, so that it is quickly selectable to a downward sloping road map. |
