PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition suitable for building materials, having excellent low smoking, heat insulating properties and soundproofing properties comprising a specific polyolefinic resin, specific inorganic particles, a halogenated phosphorus-containing compound-based flame-retardant and a blowing agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. polyolefinic resin containing >=50wt.% copolymer of formula [1+m+N is 100wt.% (m+n)/(1+m+n) is 15-50%; m/(1+m+n) is 14.5-49.5%; n/(1+m+n) is 0.1-45%) having a functional group bondable to glycidyl group, (B) 50-300 pts.wt. inorganic particles (e.g. aluminum hydroxide) treated with an organic silane coupling agent containing glycidyl group, (C) 7-20 pts.wt. flame-retardant containing 50-85wt.% total amounts of phosphorus and a halogen and (D) 5-20 pts.wt. blowing agent such as azodicarbonamide. The composition is molded and partially crosslinked to give flame-retardant resin foamed body. |
