PURPOSE:To realize reduction in size, high reliability, high frequency and low noise level of an inverter apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A series connecting circuits consisting of a parallel circuit of a switching element S11 and a diode D11 and a parallel circuit of a switching element S12 and a diode D12 is defined as a single module and an inverter apparatus is formed by utilizing a plurality of such modules. Thereby, the inverter apparatus can be reduced in size by about 50%, the switching frequency can also be raised up to 5kHz from 2kHz and thereby a noise level can be lowered to 65 dB from 80 dB in addition to improvement of motor efficiency.
