<p>PURPOSE:To make the electromagnetic conversion characteristics of the inner and outer cores of a circumferentially-facing type rotary transformer nearly equal to each other. CONSTITUTION:The rotation-side core 1 and fixed-side cores 2 and 3 of this rotary transformer are formed to cylindrical types and coaxially arranged with small clearances x1 and x2 between each of them so that they can make relative rotations. The clearance x2 between the central rotation-side core 1 and outer fixed-side core 3 is made larger than the clearance x1 between the core 1 and inner fixed-side core 2. Since the clearance of the outer core having a larger facing area is made large than that of the inner core, the inductance and coupling coefficient between the cores 1 and 2 can be made nearly equal to those between the cores 3 and 1 and no difference is produced in the electromagnetic conversion characteristic between different channels having different cores.</p> |
