DRAWING SYSTEM FOR BROKEN LINE

PURPOSE:To properly draw the extreme value of the Y coordinates of a broken line which is drawn by connecting the assemblies of coordinate points to each other by connecting these assemblies of coordinate points in such a way where a peculiar point always included in a solid line part. CONSTITUTION:A data input means 1 inputs the continuous segment data and the data necessary for drawing the broken lines showing the coordinate element number, the Y coordinate minimum space, etc. A broken line drawing distance calculation means 2 decides whether the coordinate point to be processed is identical with a peculiar point or not based on the data received from the means 1. Then the means 2 calculates the length of a solid line part and a space part so that the peculiar point is drawn at the solid line part based on the deciding result of the peculiar point. A broken line drawing means 3 drawns a broken line to an output device 4 based on the length of the solid line part and the space part calculated by the means 2.
