PURPOSE:To improve handling processability and make impregnation properties of resin good by interlacing thermoplastic fiber with reinforcing fiber and integrating them. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic resin fiber is cut, and short fibers are dispersed in liquid, and paper is made from the dispersed bodies and a short fiber web sheet in which fibers are oriented at random. Short fiber web sheets are laminated on the upper and lower faces of the sheet in which long fibers for reinforcing are arranged in one direction on the plane, and the reinforced sheet is inserted in the sandwich shape. After that, water jet is applied from the upper and lower faces of the laminate sheet, and the short fibers constituting the fiber web are infiltrated into the reinforced fiber sheet to manufacture a composite sheet in which the reinforcing fibers and thermoplastic short fibers are interlaced integrally. |
