<p>PURPOSE:To provide a shift control system for display screen which can shift frequently a window in a short time and improves the operability of a user. CONSTITUTION:When the window is continuously shifted, the generation and erasion of the ruled lines 3 are omitted on a graphic screen 2. Thus only the character information 4 is generated and erased on a code screen 1 in a continuous shift state. The screen 2 is generated only when the continuous shift of windows is stopped and a table 5 is displayed through a synthesizing process 6 prepared for synthesization with the screen 1. The processing time needed for the generation and erasion of the screen 1 can be ignored and the generation and erasion of the screen 2 requiring much processing time can be omitted. Thus the windows can be shifted at a high speed. The continuous or discontinuous shift of windows is decided by deciding whether the shift of the next window is instructed or not when a new code screen is generated.</p> |
