PURPOSE:To provide a two component developer not showing short circuit of bias voltage or fogging caused by back scene, being good in density reproducibility of a solid picture and used for a magnetic brush developing method in the case when a pigment dispersed system photosensitive body is used for an electrophotographic sensitive body. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic developer is a two component developer which is used to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on a pigment dispersed system electrophotographic sensitive body having a photoconductive layer formed by dispersing a pigment in a binding resin by a magnetic brush developing method and which is formed by mixing at least a magnetic carrier powder and a toner powder, and at which a volume resistance determined at the state of providing magnetic brush and at 1000V/cm electric field is to be 1X10<7>OMEGA.cm-3X10<9>OMEGA.cm.
