<p>PURPOSE:To provide structure for tapping molten steel under condition of remaining slag in a furnace and steel tapping method. CONSTITUTION:In an arc furnace for steel making, a steel tapping hole 30 is positioned so as to dip with the molten steel at the time of tilting the furnace body at 15-40 deg. angle and horizontally become the same level as the deepest part of molten steel at the time of tilting at 35-40 deg. angle. A refractory-made steel. tapping tube 28 is inclined at 25-30 deg. angle to sill level (S.L.) of the furnace. In the steel tapping, the tapping to half of the whole steel tapping quantity is executed at <=20 deg. inclining angle and the tapping of the remained half is executed in the range of 35-40 deg. inclining angle, and when the molten steel remained in the furnace becomes 10-20%, the furnace body is quickly returned back to the horizontal-position.</p> |
