PURPOSE:To provide a ultrasonic linear actuator driver wherein the driving high frequency is subjected to amplitude modulation with a controlling high frequency and an actuator is driven with thus modulated signals. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic linear actuator driver comprises a controlling high frequency polarity identifying section 30 for identifying the polarity of controlling high frequency 27, a first amplitude modulating section 21 receiving 8 driving highfrequency, a second amplitude modulating section 25 receiving high frequencies having different phases, and a pair of piezoelectric elements 7, 9 receiving modulated outputs 21a, 25a from the modulating sections 21, 25. |
