<p>PURPOSE:To perform efficient adsorption while simply and certainly performing desorption by mixing a powdery adsorbent with gas to be treated in an air stream feed process to perform adhesion and adsorption and indirectly heating the adsorbent in such a state that regenerating gas is allowed to flow to the adsorbent in a small flow rate. CONSTITUTION:Gas to be treated and a powdery adsorbent after regeneration are mixed on the inlet side of a pipeline 10 and the sticky dust and harmful/ malodorous gas component in the gas to be treated are efficiently bonded and adsorbed on the powdery adsorbent during the passage through the pipeline 10. The powdery adsorbent is separated from purified gas by a bag filter 11 to be sent in a ribbon stirrer 12 from a pipeline 12 and successively moved toward an outlet along the inner wall of a cylindrical tank and brought into contact with the regenerating gas supplied from a gas supply port 27 in a small flow rate during this period to be mixed therewith and simultaneously heated by the heating medium in a jacket. As a result, the adsorbent is brought into contact with the regenerating gas under heating to be subjected to desorbing treatment to be regenerated. The sticky dust and the harmful/malodorous gas component are sent to a direct combustion type deodorizing device 13.</p> |
