<p>PURPOSE:To measure easily the weight of sludge within a rotor and to grasp the operating conditions. CONSTITUTION:In a rotor 6 is rotated by a motor 3, and the sludge within the rotor is separated from the clarified liquid by using the centrifugal force. During running for clarification of the rotor 6, the rotating speed of the motor 3 is a little changed, the motor current at the time is detected. While the centrifugal clarifier is operated, the accumulated quantity of the sludge is presumed from the correlation between the motor current and the sludge quantity previously found on the basis of this detected value of the motor current.</p> |
