摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an electrolytic device which is simple in construction, has a small floor area, and has good efficiency by specifying the construction of electrodes, the introducing method of current, the shape of a reaction chamber, cooling means, etc. CONSTITUTION:An electrolytic chamber 1, a reaction chamber 2 and a gas separating chamber 3 having the same diameter are successively provided in the lowermost, middle and uppermost stages. Cylindrical cathodes and anodes 6, 5 suspending and rising respectively from and to a cathode base plate 7 and an anode conductive assembly ring 15 are inserted and combined concentrically with each other to form the chamber 1. Notched holes 10, 11 are opened at the root of both cylinders and the ring 15 is fixed to an anode copper base plate 4. A partition skirt 8 is insulated and fixed to the plate 7 so as to suspend by enclosing the electrode part, thereby segmenting the electrode part and a down flow passage 14 for an electrolyte. The chamber 2 is segmented from the chamber 1 by means of the plate 7 provided with many holes and is segmented to ascending and descending flow zones by means of a chute 18 covering the top surface in the electrode part of the plate 7 and a draft pipe 19 rising therefrom and opening at the center of the chamber 3. A nozzle 24 for injecting cooling water, a wall 25 for preventing scattering and a receiver 26 are provided to enclose the outside wall of the chamber 2. The ratio of the diameter with respct to the height of this device is set at >=7.
