PURPOSE:To obtain a digital image processor for executing color conversion more matching human senses by forming a two-color image consisting of a single color and an achromatic color by the same constitution in addition to the formation of a single color image. CONSTITUTION:A saturation signal 114 and a lightness signal 115 are respectively converted into respective optional single colors by a saturation conversion part 107 and a lightness conversion part 108 and a color output signal forming part 109 converts respective single colors into single color signals adaptive to an output device and outputs the converted signals to a selector 112. On the other hand, the signal 115 is inputted to a gray outputting signal formation part 110, which converts the input to an achromatic color signal appropriate for the output device and inputs the converted signal to the selector 112. A hue signal 113 and the signals 114, 115 are inputted to a color judging part 111 in order to judge the color of one picture element read out by an input device 102. The color judging part 111 judges whether the output is a single color output or an achromatic color output and outputs the judged result to the selector 112 as a color judging signal 118. The signal 118 acts as a switching signal for switching said single color signal and achromatic color signal to form a two-color image consisting of the single color and the achromatic color. |
