PURPOSE:To immediately correspond to the various kinds of media request by connecting a media center having various pieces of information to a media rental shop by means of a high speed transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Media information requested by a customer is reproduced at high speed by a high speed media reproducing device 13 provided inside the media center 11 and transmitted to a transmission line interface 16. The transmitted media information is transferred by the high speed transmission line 15 and inputted in a high speed media recorder 14 with the transmission line interface 16 inside the media rental shop 12. That is, requested media information is recorded at high speed in a media package 17 by the high speed media recorder 14. In this case, the media package 17 can be sold or rented to the costomer. When the recorded media package 17 is made to be an optical disk, a recording and reproducing device is easily obtained by permitting a reproduction head or the recording head to be a multi-head. |
