摘要

PURPOSE:To efficiently make a harmful waste fluid containing dimethylamine harmless by decomposing and removing dimethylamine by bringing a factory waste fluid containing dimethylamine into contact with cells of bacteria belonging to the genus Xanthobacter and metabolizing and decomposing dimethylamine and/or cell treated matter of said bacteria. CONSTITUTION:A factory waste fluid containing dimethylamine is brought into contact with cells of bacteria (e.g; Xanthobacter autotrophicus) belonging to the genus Xanthobacter and capable of metabolizing and decomposing dimethylamine and/or cell treated matter of said bacteria to decompose and remove dimethylamine. As a result, a harmful waste fluid containing dimethylamine can be effectively made harmless.
