PURPOSE:To obtain a favorable composite cushioning body consisting of portions differing in characteristics such as hardness by a method wherein each molding stock liquid is fed to the each predetermined part divided with partition plates in the molding recesses of a lower mold. CONSTITUTION:A mold 1 for obtaining a composite cushioning body, which has cushioning body portions differing in characteristics such as hardness by expansion molding a plurality of polyurethane resin foam developing stock liquids and forming in the predetermined shapes, consists of a lower mold 2, in the molding recess 3 of which partition plates 4 for dividing the stock liquids are provided, and an upper mold 8, between the molding surface 10 of which and each of the partition plates 4 of the lower mold 22 the predetermined gas is held at its mold clamping to the lower mold 2 and which forms the predetermined molding space part together with the molding recesses 3 of the lower mold 2. At the predetermined positions of the molding recesses 3 of the lower mold 2 and/or the molding surface 10 of the upper mold 8, adjusting plates 6 and 11, which control the flows of the stock liquids fed to respective molding recesses 3A and 3B divided with the partition plates 4, are provided. Thus, the favorable composite cushioning body consisting of portions differing in characteristics such as hardness and the like can be obtained. |
