PURPOSE:To obtain a commodity code converting device where there is no necessity for reforming a system by respective stores. CONSTITUTION:When sales information based on a store commodity code is inputted from the respective stores with an input part 2, code converting means 4 and 5 read a code correspondance table stored in a correspondance table storage part 7, compare the both store commodity codes and detect the common commodity code corresponding to the coincident store commodity code when they coincide. The detected common commodity code is regarded as the code corresponding to the retrieved stored commodity code and sales information is stored in a whole store data storage part 6 based on the detected common commodity code. The code correspondance table in the correspondance table storage part 7 is generated and updated by a table generating part 8 so as to be printed by a printer 9 if necessary. |
