<p>PURPOSE:To correct an error caused by the inclination of an input pen, etc., when vibration transfer delay time is counted to calculate a position. CONSTITUTION:In an coordinate input device for which a vibration pen 3 imparts the vibration to a vibration transferring plate 8 and the vibration is detected by a sensor 6 to decide a coordinate, the distance from the input position is found by considering the delay time until detection and the vibration speed. In the distance value, the error as much as the integer multiple of wave length is estimated to be included based upon the vibration condition found by the sensor 6. In order to correct the error, the deviation quantity as much as the integer multiple of the wave length is calculated from a group delay time, however, the obtained value may not be an integer. Therefore, an error can be generated when the obtained value is made into an integer. In order to suppress the error to a minimum, the deviation included in the value before making it into an integer is corrected by considering the difference between the value before making it into an integer and that after changed into an integer to calculate more an accurate coordinate.</p> |
