<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned apparatus in compact structure by installing a valve controller for opening and closing operating a valve apparatus by the pressure on the upstream side of the valve apparatus for varying the supercharge capacity. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is in low-speed high-load operation, a valve member 34a is closed, and a valve member 34b is opened, and the exhaust gas supplied from an exhaust manifold 26 acts onto the vanes of a turbine rotor 16, passing through an exhaust-gas introducing passage B. When the engine is in middle speed and high-load state, the valve member 34a is opened, and the valve member 34b is closed,and exhaust gas is supplied into the turbine rotor 16 from an exhaust-gas introducing passage A having a large flow rate characteristic. When the engine is in high-speed high-load or low-load operation, two valve members 34a and 34b are opened, and exhaust gas is supplied into the turbine rotor 16 from the both exhaust gas introducing passages A and B.</p> |
