PURPOSE:To improve inserting performance with the generation of water in a body cavity by forming numerous pores on an external surface of at least a part to be inserted into the body cavity of an inserter for the body cavity for inspection and treatment and impregnating with short-chain fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:Regarding an inserter for a body cavity, for example, an endoscope 1 is made up of an inserting part 2 and an operating part 3. The operating part 3 is connected to a light source through a universal cord 19 and a connector 20 and provided with an operation knob 18, an eyepiece part 17, a air feeding suction button 15, a water feeding pump 16 and a forceps insertion port 14. A flexible tube 13 of the inserting part 2 comprises a spiral coil tube 8, a mesh layer 7 and a resin layer 6 and a plurality of pipes 10 are inserted therethrough. The resin layer 6 is made of porous foamed polypropylene and numerous pores on the surface are impregnated with short-chain fatty acid. When the inserting part 2 is inserted into the body cavity, the short-chain fatty acid acts to make chlorine ions exude into a tube cavity and water exuded from an internal wall of the tube cavity. This improves inserting performance with a better lubricity thereby shortening treating time. |
