CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a heat roller retreating mechanism 30 for moving the heat roller 26 from a fixation position to a retreat position when the temperature of the heat roller 26 in the fixing device 21 rises equal to or exceeding a certain value, a thermistor 32 for detecting the temperature of the heat roller 26 and a control circuit 31 for actuating the heat roller retreating mechanism 30 after receiving a detection signal from the thermistor 32. And when the temperature of the heat roller 26 rises equally to or exceeding the certain value while the fixation is performed, the heat roller retreating mechanism 30 is actuated by the control circuit 31 after receiving the detection signal from the thermistor 32, and then, the heat roller 26 is moved to the retreat position. |
