PURPOSE:To calculate a pattern reference coordinate at a high speed from the relative relation of the endpoint coordinates of a former line and a new line at the time of painting-out in a line unit through the use of the pattern having an arbitrary length. CONSTITUTION:Parameter such as the endpoint coordinate of the former line and that of the new line is stored in a register file 2. A computing element 3 inputs the coordinate values and generally operates them. The coordinate values are obtained and a real address is calculated. Then, an external memory is made access through a memory control part 5. The pattern is read and a data processing part 6 operates the data and write destination data. A sequencer 4 controls the flow of a whole processing in accordance with a program sequence. |
