<p>A novelty pen cap (42) incorporates a sound producer, which emits voice/music or beep-tunes. The battery (70), loudspeaker (46), etc., are mounted inside the pen cap, in the dark when the cap is on; a light sensor (67) is exposed to ambient light when the cap is open, whereby sound is emitted automatically upon the cap being removed from the pen. The electronic components are fixed firmly together to form a self-contained, physically integrated, assembly unit (73), which is operational independently of its installation in the cap.</p> |
