<p>This invention pertains to an ultra thin walled wire reinforced endotracheal tubing, and a method and apparatus for producing such tubing. Conventional tubing suffers from the drawbacks of increased wall thickness and little flexibility. These drawbacks are resolved by making the tubing by depositing a dissolvable polymeric material onto a rotating mandrel (1) and then applying a spring material (27) around the mandrel.</p> |
