A hose coupling has a tubular part (2) on which is slid the end of a hose to be coupled and means for retaining the end of the hose (13) on the tubular part. The tubular part (2) that extends from the housing (1) is conically enlarged towards its root, preferably like a trumpet. The hose end slid thereon is held by a clamping sleeve (6) having an inner squeezing edge (12) that is squeezed into the outer surface of the slid-on hose, reliably retaining the hose end on the tubular part, once the clamping sleeve has been linked with the housing, for example by means of a bayonet catch (8, 9), and at the same time pressing the hose end against the tubular part. A traction-resistant, durable, tight and easy to establish link is thus obtained. In the case of port-catheter systems, the length of the flexible catheter can be quickly and easily adapted to the prevailing conditions and subsequently coupled to the port.
