The document file consists of a back cover (1), a front cover (2), and a spine (3) to which the filing rings are attached. Each cover and has short tubular elements (12,13) fitted near its inner edge and near to its top and bottom edges on its inner surface. The inner surface of the spine (3) is fitted with similar tubular elements (6,7). The covers are connected to the spine (3) by a device (5) which has four parallel pins (8,9,10,11) which engage the tubular elements (6,7,12,13) with a snap action. These form hinges between the covers and the spine. USE/ADVANTAGE - Document file which can be dismantled and formed into a compact parcel for convenient transport.
