Coated particules for use in cosmetic preparations comprising substrate particules, a coupling agent and an outer boron nitride coating. A preferred embodiment consists of spherical hollow substrate particules of a polyvinylidene copolymer with isopropyl triisostearoyltitanate as coupling agent.
