Fitting for tilting and sliding window

The fitting is lockable to the frame in the open or shut positions. In the window is an operating rod (15) working in a concealed groove near one edge, on which a control boss (25) acts via a cam on a one piece extension arm (8) pivoting at one end on a slide (23) working in a guide rail, and also hinging at a fixed point on a bearing plate (18).The width of the plate is equal to that of the profiled part of the window(2)frame containing the groove for the rod, and it contains a lengthwise slot through which the boss passes. The latter is mounted directly on a driving rod (17) sliding below the plate. The extension arm on the outside of the plate has a cam face open to the side with two straight control sections including an angle between 90 and 150 deg. The face in contact with the boss in each end position of the arm is parallel to the slot edges.
