An expanding feedhead-plug for boreholes that are to be filled with a fluid under pressure for rock stabilisation in underground mining has a locking-piece which, when it expands, causes flexible tongues to spread out before the fluid pressure builds up. Specifically, the expandable locking-piece is a high-pressure rubber hose placed between the inlet and outlet valve heads, and has a diameter (before filling) less than that of the drilled hole to be plugged, which e.g. has a dia. of 45mm.
