Weld beads and similar at the corners of a (partic.) plastic section rectangular frame such as horizontal and vertical window frame members are dressed clean; in the process the frame is moved horizontally or vertically along a guide into the dressing station and orientated and clamped in position; it is dressed at the corners by at least two different tools before being removed. The conveyor used moves the frame against at least one stop where it is gripped, and two adjacent corners are then dressed at the same time by two separate cutting tools before the frame is moved away again. ADVANTAGE - The procedure has a rapid action. It can be used for dressing small sizes of frame without difficulty
