An aerator has at least one guiding rail (2) comprising holders (4) and runners (3) for guiding at least one hose (5) provided at least in some sections with air through-hole, and traction means (6) for pulling the hose into the empty or liquid-filled basin (1). The hose (5) is axially movable in the holders (4). The holders (4) have a round, closed shape and their runners (3) are linked by the traction means (6).
