PURPOSE:To make it possible to transmit an equal number of specific codes evenly by normally treating specific codes in off-line operation while invalidating specific codes, which are considered to be ineffective, in on-line operation. CONSTITUTION:In on-line operation, data are transmitted via transmission line 7 and, after being converted into parallel codes via series-parallel converter 8, sent to buffer 3 via multiplexer 2. Strobe signal STB' from converter 8, on the other hand, is sent to buffer 3 by way of OR gate 4 and NAND gate 5. At this time, detecting circuit 10 compares the output code of ineffective code generator 9 to a code generated by converter 8 and, when the both agree, closes gate 5. Therefore, only when a specific code considered to be ineffective arrives, the input of signal STB' to buffer 3 is inhibited in on-line operation and the specific code outputted from circuit 8 is treated as ineffective one without entering ineffetive buffer 3. Thus, an equal number of specific codes are only inserted evenly in program generation. |
