<p>PURPOSE:To apply the good tension control to any kind of rolling materials, by switching the looper control and the loopless control according to the condition of the rolled material between two stands. CONSTITUTION:The bending parameter arithmetic unit 30 operates the parameter etai showing the bending difficulty, and the tension control selector 31 receives the parameter etai as the input and judges whether this parameter is larger than the previously set value etao. When the parameter etaI between the I-th stand and the (I+1)th stand exceeds the value etao, HTFC is employed as the tension controller for the upstream side from the (I+1)th stand, and the looper is employed for the downstream side from the (I+1)th stand; thus the tension controller is selected. According to this command, the looper and HTFC control the interstand tension. As a result, the most suitable tensinon control can be performed for the rolled material ranging from the special material like as the thick material, the low temperature use material, the high hard material, etc. to the ordinary hot rolled material.</p> |
