There is disclosed a herbicidal composition comprising as active ingredients a herbicidally effective amount of (a) an iminothiazoline compound of the formula: <CHEM> wherein R<1> is halogen, halo(C1-C2)alkyl, halo(C1-C2)alkoxy or halo(C1-C2)alkylthio; R<2> is C1-C2 alkyl, chlorine, bromine or iodine; R<3> is C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkoxy or C1-C6 alkoxy, all of which are optionally substituted with at least one substituent selected from halogen, C1-C2 alkyl and C1-C2 alkoxy; R<4> is hydrogen or halogen; and (b) at least one of herbicidal triazine compounds, herbicidal uracil compounds, herbicidal urea compounds, herbicidal dinitro aniline compounds, norflurazon, dimetazon, imazaquin and imazetapia. Also disclosed is a method for controlling undesired weeds by use of the herbicidal composition.
