The invention relates to ink-jet printing machines consisting of juxtaposed printing modules. According to the invention, in each printing module the means (33) for generating the ink jets, the means (32) for deflecting the ink drops and the means (34) for recovering the undeflected drops are carried by a one-piece body (29) arranged on one face of a supporting beam (28); the opposite face of the said beam (28) carries ink supply means (86, 111) and a reservoir (62) for recovering the unused ink coming from the recovery means (34) and from the generating means (33).
