<p>Device to compensate for variations in the dimensions of boxlike products being packaging in a machine which wraps said products in a packing sheet, supplied in a horizontal plane, and characterised by the fact that it comprises a horizontally movable carriage which is actuated by an actuator between an advanced and a retracted position, a cart which can travel on said carriage parallel to it and comprising a lower wall and an upper wall, vertically coplanar and defining between them a slot for passage of the packaging sheet, said walls being held in an advanced position relative to said carriage by elastic means, and there is a locking element able to lock said cart relative to said carriage when the latter has been brought into said advanced position where the lower wall encounters a product that is to be wrapped. <IMAGE></p> |
