Scales originating during technological processes are removed from the surface of metallurgical products by blasting the surface of the metallurgical products in a cold state by a set of water jets at a pressure of 150 to 400 Mpa with added particles of abrasive agents at a density of 2,650 to 3,900 kg/m<3>; the size of the grain is 0.005 to 0.04 mm with an isometric coefficient of 1.00 to 1.64 and a hardness of 620 to 990 HV0.1.
