This fitting with a stationary rising spindle, provided with a split gland follower, consists of two firmly mounted half pieces (1,2) of the split gland follower with the contact area (3) in the longitudinal axis of the flange section (101). On the flange section (101) there are central radial cogs (13) the face areas (131) of which enter the central hole (104) and, at the same time, are in contact with the guide surfaces (141) of the spindle (14) and are parallel to the contact area (3) of both the half pieces (1,2) of the split gland follower.<IMAGE>
