The invention relates to an arrangement in a lead-through device for cables or wires (4) through a wall or the like. The lead-through device comprises a frame (1) mounted in an opening in the wall. The frame is filled with one or more rows of packing pieces (2, 3). At least one (2) of the packing pieces is provided with a through-channel for a cable or wire (4). The cable or wire fits tightly in the channel. According to the invention, each cable or wire (4) is, on at least one side of the packing piece (2), surrounded by a jacket (5) of a fire protecting, resilient material. The jacket (5) has the shape of a helically wound strip with windings lying tightly against each other and which connects to the packing piece (2) to form a continuation thereof, the jacket tightly surrounding the cable or wire (4). |
