Marking device for oblong objects, such as electric cables or the like and of the type which preferably is produced in one piece of an elastic plastic material. The marking device includes partly an openable holder part (11) formed with side shanks (16), designed to at least partially surround the object (14), and partly a marking part (12). The marking device (10) is provided with a manipulation part (13), including part for opening or closing the shanks (16) of the holder part (11), so that the object (14) after the insertion is at least partly surroundable and/or fixable between the shanks. The manipulation part (13) includes partly a main body (35) connected to the shanks (16) of the holder part and partly an actuating means (15), each connected partly to the main body and partly to one of the shanks. An actuation on the means (15) results in an attraction, acting on the shanks so that they open. |
