A lock for locking e.g. a platform side relative to a platform stanchion comprises a handle member (15) and a slide member (17) connected to the handle member via a first articulation (16) and integrated in a hollow section (6). The slide member (17) is displaceable back and forth by pivoting the handle member (15) which is pivotally connected via a second articulation (18) spaced from the first articulation (16), to a link (19) which is pivotable about a third articulation (20) fixedly connected to the hollow section. The slide member (17) is connected to a pawl (22) which is pivotable about a fourth articulation (21) and which through a hole in the hollow section is pivotable between a first, swung-in position and a second, swung-out position, in which the pawl (22) can engage through a hole in the platform stanchion for interlocking the platform side and the stanchion. |
