PURPOSE:To easily hold an optimum exposure value by changing one of exposure factors so that the optimum exposure value based on a photometric value may be held while a manual shifting means is operated at the time of photographing under a manual exposure mode. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 41 is provided with functions such as a priority exposure factor changing means, an exposure value holding means and a manual shifting means, etc., in addition to a basic photographing function such as the function of calculating and deciding the exposure factor(stop value and shutter speed). And when the manual shifting means is operated under the manual exposure mode, the exposure factor is set based on an object brightness which is measured by a photometry means, and when the manual shifting means is in operating under the manual exposure mode, an exposure value calculating means makes the photometry means to continue the photometry, and furthermore, an optimum exposure value calculating action by the exposure value calculating means is kept to continue based on the photometric value by the photometry means. And when the operation of the manual shifting means is turned off, the final calculation result by the exposure value calculating means is held. |
