PURPOSE:To make it possible to efficiently record and reproduce the high antimagnetic tape, by forming a sendast film of specific thickness on the gap part of the ferrite core, and providing the step difference between the contact faces of the core and the film of the front and rear gap parts. CONSTITUTION:In the magnetic head which is formed by bonding the ferrite cores 1a, 1b, a sendast film 3 of 3-10mu in thickness is placed on one or both gap parts of the cores 1a, 1b. And the step difference is provided so that the cores 1a, 1b in the front gap part and the contact faces 7a, 7b with the sendast film 3, and the cores 1a, 1b in the rear gap part and the contact faces 14a, 14b do not exist on the same place, respectively. The aforesaid step difference brings on advantages by which the film 3 of the rear gap part can be removed, or the film thickness of the rear gap part can be made smaller than that of the front gap part by the step difference part. |
