PURPOSE:To constitute a storage device utilizing the interference of light in order to decrease the number of the constituting elements, and to contrive the simplification and the miniaturization of a device with single light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:This storage device is provided with a diffraction grating 20 which diffracts a coherence light having the wavelength lambda emitted from the single light emitting element 10 and a group of light receiving elements 40 on a parabolic curved surface 30 having the diffraction grating 20 as its focus. By controlling the wavelength lambda of the coherence light which incidents on the diffraction grating 20 as an address, a diffraction angle theta having the maximum value of the power P of the diffraction light is varied and the light distribution pattern of the diffraction light is received by the group of light receiving elements 40 to be outputted as the data. |
