PURPOSE:To adjust a discharge wire without using a pseudo photosensitive body and to shorten a time required for exchanging work. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a grid 104 which is divided into three in a direction crossing with the longitudinal direction of an electrostatic charger 101, a switching part 108 which is disposed between the grid 104 and a bias power source 107 and connects the respective electrodes of the grid 104 which is divided into three with the bias power source 107 or ground, an Id detection part 109 which detects the value of a current(electrostatic charging current) flowing in a photosensitive body 105, and a CPU 110 which inputs the detected value of the electrostatic charging current detected by the Id detection part 109 from an A/D converter 113 and executes the control of the switching part 108 and a display part 114. |
