PURPOSE:To ensure constant speed response characteristics at all times and to realize stabilized speed control by feeding a motor with an optimal accelerating/decelerating current according to the condition of any load. CONSTITUTION:In a motor speed controller comprising a speed controller 2 for a motor 6, a current controller 3 for the motor 6, and an accelerating/ decelerating current operating means 24 for the motor 6, gain KffxK' at the accelerating/decelerating current operating section 24 is varied based on a gain command K' corresponding to the magnitude of the inertial moment of load to be applied on the motor 6. Consequently, a constant speed response is obtained even upon increase of load. Furthermore, gain of the speed controller 2 settles at a predetermined value. According to the constitution, speed response does not increase excessively even upon abrupt variation of load and stability is sustained in the speed control. |
