<p>PURPOSE:To input three-dimensional data by a simple mouse operation by moving a cursor in the same direction as the moving direction of a mouse even when the mouse is obliquely moved. CONSTITUTION:A 1st ball 2 provided with sensors 4X, 4Y and a 2nd ball 12 provided with a sensor 14X are disposed on the bottom of the mouse 11. An operation part 5 calculates the inclination amount of the mouse 11 based upon a movement amount detected by the sensors 4X, 4Y. The movement amount of the mouse 11 is compensated in accordance with the calculated inclination amount and the cursor is moved in the same direction as the moving direction of the mouse 11. In addition, a main sensor M and a sub-sensor are arranged on the bottom of the mouse, and when the mouse 11 is moved, detection signals are outputted from both the main sensor M and sub-sensor. The detection signal from the sensor M is processed as X and Y coordinates, the rotational variable of the sub-sensor around the position of the sensor M is calculated and the value of the rotational variable is processed as a Z coordinate.</p> |
