UNIT FOR OPTICAL FIBER SCREEN

摘要

PURPOSE:To allow the arbitrary control of the directional characteristic of one axis of the unit for an optical fiber screen with a small loss in optical quantity and the directing of the main direction of the directional characteristic in an axial direction orthogonal therewith to an arbitrary direction and to protect the front ends of optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:This optical fiber screen unit is constituted with the one end where an optical fiber 2 bundle focuses as an incident part 4 and the other end expanded on a panel surface 1 as an exit part. A resin layer 3 formed to a lenticular shape on the surface and the end faces of the optical fibers 2 are integrally formed in the exit part of the optical fibers without intervening air layers therebetween.
